I\u2019m reaching out to encourage the businesses you serve to apply to the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program.\u00a0This\u00a0is a great opportunity for business owners to gain access to tools and knowledge to grow their business. The program is offered at\u00a0no cost\u00a0<\/b>to the business owner– every business owner selected receives a full scholarship, with tuition funded by the Goldman Sachs Foundation.<\/div>\n

Goldman Sachs\u00a0<\/a>10,000 Small Businesses<\/a>\u00a0<\/a>is designed for business owners who have a business poised for growth. Selected applicants would form the first ever Alabama cohort. We look for applicants who are passionate about growing their business and creating jobs in their communities and who generally meet these criteria:<\/div>\n
Small business owner or co-owner<\/div>\n
Business revenues over $75,000 in the most recent fiscal year<\/div>\n
Business in operation for 2+ years<\/div>\n
Business with 2+ employees (including the owner)<\/div>\n
The application process is competitive. Small business owners should\u00a0apply now<\/a>. Applications close June 1, 2024.<\/div>\n
