Luverne Public Library is happy to announce that our 3rd annual Christmas\u00a0Sweets & Treats\u00a0(previously known as Taste of Christmas) will take place on\u00a0Tuesday, December 11th\u00a0in the Lt. Colonel James A. Watts Conference Room at the Library.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Sweets & Treats extravaganza will start at 6 p.m.\u00a0 \u00a0Tickets are available for pre-purchase @ the LPL, from a Friend, or the night of at the door for the cost of $10.00. All proceeds will go toward future library programs and special events. The annual\u00a0Chamber Christmas Parade\u00a0will be a\u00a0NITE EVENT\u00a0this year today , Dec. 11th. Lineup starts at 5 p.m….. Beginning at 6:30 p.m., the parade will follow the same route as always……wear something really warm and snuggly and come enjoy our first night parade……then visit the Luverne Library for some wonderful chocolate goodies.\u00a0About cars for queens……Parade starts at 6:30…line up for queens\/cars starts at 5… If you are riding in a vehicle as a queen, court, etc. please go behind the old armory\/old factory and line up on Fourth Street, parking the vehicle towards Franklin Avenue. I will be there a little after 5 to assist with line up order. Vehicles need to be there by 5:45, riders need to be there no later than 6:15. If you have any questions\/concerns, please let me know.
