September 21 – Today  – 4:30 p.m. Ribbon Cutting and Open House for Wellspring Worship and Warfare Center – 15  S.  Forest –   Living Water  Coffee House – Come welcome Beth Rogers and Amanda Ackerman to            Downtown Luverne and  Crenshaw County as they provide a Welcome Center atmosphere and  restful study/worship center for all.  Thursday & Friday open at 7:30 a.m. with coffee & snacks – til 1 p.m.
Reminder:  They will hold a Bible study  every Tuesday night at 6:30 p.m. at the Coffee House location, 15 S. Forest Ave, Luverne.  Come join in the discussion!  

September 22 – Open House/Re-Opening Allen’s Dry Creek Market – they have enclosed the market and A/C too –  they will have pumpkins, mums and NC apples straight from the orchard including honey crisp, gala, granny  smith, braeburn and ginger gold apples.  They also have Ft. Deposit watermelons, yellow squash, spaghetti  squash and butternut squash and Alabama tomatoes.  Please stop by tomorrow and whenever you shop.           
October 6 – 13 on Fifth’s 2nd Annual Fall Festival – 9 am – 1 pm – Downtown Luverne at 13 on Fifth.  Live Music by  Matt Holmes and Chris Eiland.  A community awareness Program presented by Terry Mears, Luverne Police Officer.   Kids fun and games, food, vendors with a variety of arts n crafts as well as trendy treasures.  Something for everyone.  This is a free community event..
October 8 – the Chamber’s 3-Person Scramble Golf Tournament at Luverne Country Club.  Some hole sponsorships still available – contact Al Snellgrove at 334-429-0066 or Foster Carpenter at 334-508-2446…..
