                                                                 A Leader’s Journey

Lurleen B. Wallace Community College in Greenville is offering “A Leader’s Journey” course Thursdays, Oct. 4 – Dec. 13, 2018. This class meets from 6-7 p.m. in the Technology Building, room T-102.

 In this class, students will learn John C. Maxwell’s timeless laws of leadership such as:

·         The Law of Solid Ground: Trust is the Foundation of Leadership

·         The Law of Addition: Leaders Add Value by Serving Others

·         The Law of the Picture: People Do What Others See

 And 18 other relevant principles to improve your impact and influence. Upon completion of this training, participants will have the knowledge and skills to effectively use the Maxwell Method of Leadership to lead others with confidence.

 Space is limited. The course fee is $150. Registration deadline is Sept. 27, 2018. September 21 – Friday – 4:30 p.m. Ribbon Cutting and Open House for Wellspring Worship and Warfare Center – 15                       S.  Forest –   Living Water  Coffee House – Come welcome Beth Rogers and Amanda Ackerman to                                 Downtown Luverne and  Crenshaw County as they provide a Welcome Center atmosphere and                                     restful study/worship center for all.   September 22 – Open House/Re-Opening Allen’s Dry Creek Market – they have enclosed the market and A/C too –            they will have pumpkins, mums and fall veggies.  More information to follow.
October 6 – 13 on Fifth’s Fall Festival – at this time, 16 vendors – unique crafts and more.  Don’t miss this event.
October 8 – the Chamber’s 3-Hole Scramble Golf Tournament at Luverne Country Club.  Some hole sponsorships              still available – contact Al Snellgrove at 334-429=0066 or Foster Carpenter at 334-508-2446…..
