Chamber Golf Tournament – Was held on Monday, October 14th at the Luverne Country Club.  Congratulations to the winning team, Kilcrease, Kilcrease and Weed.  Thanks to Foster Carpenter and Al Snellgrove for managing the event and for all the work involved.  Also thanks to Chamber Board members Kay Franklin and Jackie Powell and Jimmy Johnson for all their work during the lunch and tournament. Thanks to Ray Hilburn for manning the grill…. The Chamber appreciates all who donated door prizes and the Belles and Beaus who helped with that part of the event….and special thanks to Superfood, Rameys and Chicken Shack for making our lunch a treat!!   It was a great “no sun” day and 51 golfers participated in this, our second annual tournament, which supports our scholarship program for Belles and Beaus.

ENCORE REHABILITATION, INC. is locating in the building previously occupied by Infinity at 852 S. Forest Avenue.  We welcome Brandi Boutwell, DPT, Clinic Director and staff.  Stop by and welcome them to their new facility, which adds another dimension to health care in Crenshaw County.

Calendar:Treats On Us – Thursday, October 31 – Pepsi Pavilion in downtown Luverne – starts at 5:30 p.m. – kids games, tables of treats sponsored by local businesses, costume judging – a really safe and entertaining place to celebrate.  If you want to have a table, contact the Chamber office at 335-4468 or Gary Mitchell at 301-3337
