Our 6th Annual Festival was a success story considering a change in the date from Labor Day Weekend to the Last Saturday in September and a change in the venue to Turner Park in Luverne. The weather was one of the factors in the change and Saturday, September 26th was a great day. Craft vendors were comfortable, food vendors sold out, entertainment was exciting and included SeBang Cloggers, E-Town teenage band from Enterprise, Alabama, cheerleaders and dance teams from Crenshaw County schools and a beauty pageant with 31 entrants. The car show had many new cars and was well attended. Kids activities included a fish pond with prizes, a bean bag toss game, blow ups and the best of all, the Boll Weevil Choo Choo trackless train on which to ride. All in all, a wonderful day. Thanks to all who helped and participated.
