Crenshaw County Chamber of Commerce

Business Spotlight- B&B Discount Drugs

B&B opened their doors in October of 1987. The original building is across the street from their current location on South Forest Avenue. After renovating the new building, they moved into it in 1991.
Bobbie Bowers, owner and Glenda Bryan, both registered pharmacists, graduated from Auburn University.
Bobbie and her staff set out with the goal of serving the wonderful people of Crenshaw County with fast, friendly service, while offering the best possible prices. At the time B&B opened, Bobbie says she believes they were the only place in town to buy greeting cards, as well as many over-the-counter medications.
They still offer OTC medications, health and beauty aids, greeting cards, and a growing line of $1.00 items, as well as filling their customers’ prescriptions.
The staff of friendly folks who help their customers include three fulltime technicians: Rita Kelly, Jena Price and Peggy Marvin. Four part-time technicians round out the crew – Leslie Helms, Debbie Clark, Anita West and Brianna Jones. All of them do a great job of helping both pharmacists, and their loyal customers too.
They are dedicated to giving their customers the best care possible, and they truly appreciate every one of them. I know from experience that they go above and beyond to help their elderly customers, treating them as family.
